Abstract—The purpose of this paper is to map the intellectual structure of strategic management and to investigate the key concepts, themes, and their relationships wuth strategic management literature in the past decade. In this study, bibliometric and social network analysis techniques are used to investigate the intellectual pillars of the strategic management literature. By analyzing 303,402 citations of 4,616 articles published in SSCI journal in strategic management area between 2003 and 2012. The results of the mapping can help identify the research direction of strategic management research and provide a valuable tool for researchers to access the literature in this area.
