Abstract
Usage of statistical tools is important in reportingvalid and unbiased findings of a research. Therefore, this paperaims to discuss the statistical tools commonly used amongresearchers in the swarm intelligence field. Among the toolsdiscuss is the boxplot. Boxplot is a common data representationmethod chosen in the field. Nonparametric statistical test forpairwise comparison, namely, Wilcoxon signed rank test, and atest for multiple comparison, namely, Friedman test are alsoreviewed.
