Abstract
In this paper we share an experience on managingthe Fiber-to-the Home (FTTH) network for next generationcustomer access network. We ensure our proposed networksystem able to localizing the failure that occurs at end user bymeans of our new concept prototype device. Detecting fault ontraffic with carried by the same wavelength is an obstacle due tothe single photo-detector used but with our proposedconfiguration we are able to detect the fault and locationspecifically. Additional, we developed also the prototypes foreasiness maintenance for the future implementation. Finally weshow excellence results to indicate our proposed system is thebetter proposal for new generation network with survivabilityand effective monitoring solution.
