Abstract
The paper is about the integration of an onlinetechnical support request services, and monitoring of equipment,devices, & peripherals using RFID in the computer laboratoryrooms. The system includes tracking, adding, deleting, real timephysical count, trace history, notifications on the technicalsupport requests; and generating of reports. The purpose of thisstudy is to develop and evaluate the use of RFID in an IntegratedComputer- Aided Laboratory Support System in Universitiesand Colleges. The following results were derived: the level ofassessment on the existing technical support services of theinstitution is very satisfactory; the level of acceptance ofRFID-ICLASS in terms of functionality, reliability, usability,efficiency, portability and maintainability is highly acceptable;the level of assessment of the effects of RFID-ICLASS was verystrong. Based from these results the use of RFID-ICLASSreflects transparency in record keeping and improves the serviceto the students of the universities.
