Abstract
In our everyday life smartphones and applicationsbecome more and more important. But the use of applications isnot limited to private persons. Especially for the manufacturingindustry supporting applications are able to enhance theproductivity and to generate important advantages. This paperdeals with the successful development of mobile applications tosupport manufacturing processes and shows the difference toregular applications. Additionally it describes a framework fordeveloping industry applications including action fields totackle during the development process.
